About Jackpot:
Jackpot came to us from Becky Androff at Treestarr Australian Shepherds. He is absolutely a dream come true for us! He is the Special show dog that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl.
But besides being drop-dead gorgeous, Jackpot is an adorable and loving pet. he always welcomes us with a wiggle-bum so strong that he can barely move he is wiggling so hard. At fifty or so pounds, Jackpot thinks he is a lap dog and will fly onto the couch and practically smother us with kisses. He loves to lay across our laps, belly up, for belly-rubs.
He is such a caring boy. The first time Jack saw me very sick, he came and lay down next to me, draped his head over mine and gently licked my face. He lay there until long after I had fallen asleep.
Jackpot is such a playful puppy. Leave it to him to start wrestling belly-up with his squeeky duck in the middle of a dog show. Or playfully take his cousin Tohki the toller's duck and wiggle so hard from excitement that he managed to take it. I still remember when we went to meet Jackpot at Becky's, we were all standing in the front hall and all of a sudden we heard grunts and little barks and looked down to see Jackpot rolled over on his back wrestling with the air! And to this day, when Jack is in the mood to play, that's how he lets us know! Our big goofy boy starts rolling around on the floor wrestling with himself - who could resist those antics!
Jackpot enters the show ring with confidence and elegance. His movement is fluid, effortless and his reach is ground covering. His gorgeous baby blue eyes capture everyone's attention. Many judges have commented on his lovely length. He is solid and sound with a lovely neck, beautiful forechest and his father's gorgeous head.
A HUGE thank you to Becky at Treestarr Australian Shepherds for sending Jackpot to us! I hope we continue to make you proud with this wonderful boy! Even from far away, you are a great teammate and friend! Every time we show, my first thought after is "better text Becky to tell her how well he did!" and your reactions are always encouraging and mirror our excitement!

Above: Jackpot thoroughly enjoyed his first "real" winter! Jackpot allowed my sister and her Fiance to bury him in snow. In true Jackpot style, he just didn't care! He lay there happily buried in show!
Left: Jackpot and his "cousin", Tohki the Toller (CKC CH Trilliumview's Backcountry Boy owned by my sister) have mirrored each other's successes in the show ring and finished their Championships at back-to-back shows! They like shows a lot better when their "buddy" is there to play with between ring time. Here they enjoy a wrestle in my living room the very first time they met.
Right: Jackpot's throne: the couch! He likes it better when we are on the couch, so he can sit on our laps.
Above: Spring has sprung and Jack find a cool place to relax after a good long romp!
