Teddy is a two and a half year old, Long-hair Chihuahua. He is, without a doubt, the alpha-male in the house. Kiah thinks he's dreamy and Dizzy's had a crush on him from day one. Shakespeare is always jealous of all the one-on-one attention Teddy gets with the girls.
Teddy is our honourary Ausse and he does not take the title lightly. Play fetch with him and he will last as long as the Aussies and no itty-bitty ball is needed for him, he'll fetch a full size tennis ball, thank you very much!
When we took him camping, he was happy to hike along side us and collect firewood. He took offense to the proximity that a loon was swimming to the canoe and jumped in the water after it. He has been known to scale ten-foot rock walls and swim faster than we can swim away from him!
Teddy is the house couch warmer and the heating pad for any upset tummies. He is our house mascot and guard dog! Try to sneak anything past this little bugger!
His favorite past time is herding the birds in the yard or barking through the fence at the geese.
He is our puppy-sitter and will keep a puppy entertained for hours with his wrestling-style play. He's just the right size, too, for an eight week old puppy. He teaches our dogs how to play gentle and that they have to respect their elders. We love him!
